Hasan Ali has 30 days to appeal

PAS information chief Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man says there is still space for Hasan to make a final appeal.

PETALING JAYA: Sacked Selangor PAS commissioner Hasan Ali has 30 days to appeal to the Syura Council. PAS information chief, Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said : “There is still space for him to make a final appeal to the Syura Council within the next 30 days.” Hasan, a Selangor state exco for Islamic fairs, Malay customs and public amenities and Gombak Setia state rep was sacked from the party on Sunday with immediate affect for making detrimental statements against the party interests. Tuan Ibrahim said party secretary general Mustafa Ali would be sending an official letter to Hasan today.

On a related development, Tuan Ibrahim also told FMT that Hulu Kelang state rep, Saari Sungib has been given a warning. The warning was given following Saari Sungib’s announcement last month that Hasan may not be nominated as the latter had failed to get enough nomination from Gombak Setia. “The PAS central committee has issued him a warning. He cannot be giving statements without the party’s approval ,” said Tuan Ibrahim. Tuan Ibrahim added that no action was taken against Saari as he had not issued any statements since last month.
