KUCHING: Democratic Action Party (DAP) launched its first pamphlet for the 13th general election at the party’s service centre here in Padungan yesterday.
Its incumbent for Bandar Kuching, Chong Chieng Jen Chieng, said the pamphlet is in three languages – Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.
“It will be distributed throughout the southern region of Sarawak,” he told reporters during a press conference yesterday.
With Chong at the launch were aspiring DAP candidates Julian Tan Kok Ping (Stampin), Edward Andrew Luak (Serian) and Mordi Bimol(Mas Gading)
The pamphlet with an English slogan – NEW Government, NEW Hope – contains a summary of the 10 faults the party alleged were committed by the BN government during its 50 years of rule.
At the same time, Chong urged DAP members and supporters to cooperate fully with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) in contentious areas like Miri, Sri Aman and Mambong.-theborneopost
