MIRI: Over 100 motorcyclists and cyclists participated in the ‘Xpresi Hijau Anak Muda PAS Sarawak’ convoy here yesterday which was held in conjunction with PAS’‘Himpunan Hijau ke Putrajaya’.
PAS Youth chief Nasrudin Hassan flagged off the convoy which started at Jalan Brighton and ended at the Miri Indoor stadium.
Also present was Jerai MP Ustas Mohd Firdaus Jaafar.
At the end of the event, the participants were greeted by state PAS deputy commissioner Jofri Jaraiee and former deputy Education minister Datuk Salleh Jafaruddin.
Later in the evening, they attended a Hari Raya open house at Lot 1090, Jalan Brighton, Tanjung Lobang.
A few artistes from the Peninsula, inclduingy Iwan Syahman and Zuar from XPDC rock group, were present to entertain the guests.
During the open house, those present had the opportunity to meet PAS president Datuk Hadi Awang.
